MARINA DEL REY, Calif. - The Hilton Garden Inn, the award winning brand of upscale, yet affordable hotels and Santa Barbara based ownership company, Invest West today announced Dean Wolfe has been appointed General Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn Marina Del Rey.  The new hotel is operated by Pacifica Hotel Company, an affiliate of the ownership company. 

The 134-room hotel, currently under construction, is scheduled to open in May 2013.

As general manager, Wolfe will direct all areas of the hotel's operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts, and hotel administration.

Prior to joining the Hilton Garden Inn Marina Del Rey, Wolfe was General Manager of the Hilton Checkers Hotel, and has worked for several brands including Hilton, Marriott, Omni, Wyndham and Nikko Hotels. 

In addition, Charay Compton-Morris has been named Director of Sales. With a focus on leisure sales, Compton-Morris began her career at Hilton Los Angeles International Airport. As a Senior Sales Manager at Hilton Anaheim, Compton-Morris managed various market segments, including Association, Corporate, SMERF and Pharmaceutical. In 2007, Charay joined Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport North, where she succeeded in commanding the Government, Association, SMERF and Pharmaceutical markets.

Situated just minutes from Fisherman's Village, Burton W. Chace Park, the California Yacht Club and the UCLA Marina Aquatic Center, the Hilton Garden Inn Marina Del Rey provides the amenities to ensure guests have everything they need whether traveling for business or personal business.
