MCLEAN, Va. - Today Hilton Garden Inn announced that Leigh Byer, Tracy Rummans, Dawn Gordon and Roxann Franklin of Fort Myers, FL danced their way into the hearts of online fans everywhere and took home the grand prize award in the Hilton Garden Inn “Holiday Kick Start” video contest. The contest celebrated Hilton Garden Inn’s second year as the official hotel sponsor of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Radio City Rockettes.

The video earned the women a holiday-inspired prize of a lifetime: a trip for four to New York City, which includes four nights in the Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street (located right in Herald Square), a bus ride with the Radio City Rockettes to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, four great seats to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular show at Radio City Music Hall, a special meet and greet with the Radio City Rockettes before the show and $1,000 of spending money for the big trip.

Making it into the contest finals and grabbing the winning spot was no easy feat. The contest ran September 14 through October 21 and required each entrant to perform a 30 second dance video showcasing their best high kicks and dance moves. Following the contest close, a panel of judges selected 10 finalist videos based on the following key criteria: originality, overall appeal, and best impression of the Rockettes routine. The top 10 videos were featured on the contest Web site, where the public voted for their favorite “Kick Start” video between October 26th and midnight, October 30.

The remaining nine finalist winners include: Becky Fox, Kristin Fossett and Susan Ross (Charlotte, NC), Regan and Riley Lillard (Leonardtown, MD), Janell Rardon, Ida May Hill, Mildred Helen Schoedler and Maggie McDonald (Suffolk, VA), Alexis Hale (Clifton Park, NY), Huston, Justin, Matthew and Greg Jones (Mount Pleasant, SC), Megan, Matthew and Zachary Price (Fort Myers, FL), Charles, Pamela, Lincoln and Logan Evans (Los Angeles, CA), Laura Fagot (La Place, LA), and Connor Spradling (Apache Junction, AZ), all of whom also received a $100 Macy’s gift card and one “Be My Guest” gift certificate valid for a one night stay at any Hilton Garden Inn.
