WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The six-year-old, 131-room Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines, IA has begun an estimated 8-month, $6 Million addition of 45 guest rooms and 14,000 square feet of modern and sophisticated event space featuring the world class hospitality of Michael LaValle and the Des Moines Embassy club at its Jordan Creek Crossing location.
"The new addition, projected to open in June 2013, at the Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines enables the hotel to provide guests with superior accommodations, with a total of 176 guest rooms and more than 19,000 square feet of meeting/event space," said Glenn O'Connell, the hotel's General Manager. "Our new space will be perfectly suited for weddings, business conventions, association gatherings, family reunions, and for today's busy travelers to West Des Moines."
The new addition includes a 5,600 square foot Grand Hall that will seat more than 400 people, and can be divided into two separate meeting spaces. The Grand Hall will feature high ceilings, modern chandeliers, and tastefully appointed windows. The addition also includes a private bride's dressing room, a 12-seat boardroom, a neighborhood-style full-service Lounge called "The Crossing," and two outdoor garden verandas for entertaining that total 4,400 square feet.
